Soft linen top for me

This week is linen week over at Hello Heidi Fabrics and they’re offering a 20% discount on alle linen fabrics in their webshop, isn’t that sweet?!
One of these fabrics is the linen-viscose mix by Robert Kaufman in beautiful colors.
I fell in love with the chestnut version and decided to make a much needed top for myself with that fabric :-).

I recently bought the Ogden Cami top pattern over at True Bias, which has been on my sewing list for a very long time.
It’s just perfect for summer thanks to the beautiful neckline and simple silhouette.

The different threads are woven in in a certain way that gives the fabric a gorgeous chambray look and the mixed fibres make the fabric less wrinkly than pure linen.

I followed the sizing chart to the letter, made myself a size 8 and didn’t make any changes.
I’m planning some more for this summer because it’s such a quick and easy sewing project, love it!
